Lunch breaks. That's when I see many of my friends.
And the weekends that the kids are with the ex.
Email when I can.
Phone calls when the kids are in bed.
Otherwise, I get together with other moms with kids and we socialize while the kiddos play.
Yep, you can make it work! I promise!
Lunch breaks are a big one. One night a week when the grandparents watch the kiddo. Saving up $ for an occasional babysitter (after first finding one!). Oh yes, and living vicariously through those "I'm single and dating and it's so fun! and today on my agenda is..hmm..maybe a pedicure and shopping. Ooo and then I'll take a nap." blogs. :P
